Enhancements to Calendar & Excursions Notifications and Post Data Sharing

Calendar & Excursions

Event notifications have been enhanced to activate the notification bell for staff and/or caregivers when an event

• needs approval
• is cancelled
• is nearing closure
• is opened to staff
• is opened to caregivers
• a permission response is required
• a daily or weekly reminder is sent.
  

In addition, caregivers will now be able to view (but not alter) their submitted responses when an event is closed.

Post Data Sharing

When creating/editing a post, it is common to embed an image or file from Google Drive. In order to make this visible to the post recipients, Hero currently updates the file permissions to ‘anyone with a link can view’. Nothing has changed in this process, but a new dialogue display has been added to notify the post creator that this will happen.
