About Jack

An accomplished Teacher and School Leader, Jack most recently spent nearly five years as Deputy Principal at Hornby High School, a vibrant and thriving secondary school in western Christchurch. His educational leadership background spans more than a decade, and includes Year-Level Dean, Director of Deans, Acting Deputy Principal, Assistant Head of Faculty and Deputy Principal.

Throughout his career, Jack has been committed to providing the best possible educational experience for students. Jack’s guiding purpose as a leader is to nurture and sustain high quality, trusting and productive relationships across a community. He does this by engaging with others with empathy, humility and respect: giving his time, listening carefully and working hard to understand individuals’ and groups’ needs.
