Using the List Builder, you can now create a Weeks at School list that automatically accounts for holidays. This means teachers can quickly see how many weeks a child has attended school and plan around key learning milestones. The list is based on the child’s first schooling date.
This has been a highly anticipated release, aligning with the introduction of the new phonics checks (mandated for 2026) which schools will need to complete when a child has been at school for 20 weeks and again at 40 weeks.
Teachers can create these lists for any date they choose, allowing them to plan phonics checks in advance and quickly form groups for each week of the term directly from the list.
This update helps ensure phonics checks and other time-based assessments are accurate, efficient, and ready to go – without extra manual tracking.
