Glenys is a former School Leader, passionate about digitally connecting teachers, students and parents to build learning partnerships.

About Glenys

Prior to joining Hero in 2016, Glenys served as the Associate Principal and Acting Principal at Fendalton Open-air School in Christchurch. She has also lectured at the Christchurch College of Education in Primary Mathematics Education, helping to prepare the next generation of educators for the classroom.

Throughout her career, Glenys has been a passionate advocate for education and has been actively involved in a number of volunteer positions, including the Burnside Learning Community Cluster DP/AP/Senior Network and the Christchurch Primary ESOL Professional Learning Community Cluster.

Glenys holds a Bachelor of Education, a Graduate Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and is a graduate of the National Aspiring Principals Programme.
