About Carolyn
With 23 years of experience working at all levels of primary school, Carolyn is passionate about working with tamariki (children), their teachers, leaders, and whānau (family) to achieve the best possible outcomes for the whole child.
Carolyn’s experience as a Teacher and Leader in the primary school setting has provided her with a practical understanding of the daily pressures faced by teachers and school leaders. She has a comprehensive knowledge of the developmental needs and abilities of primary school aged children, and has worked alongside teachers and leaders to develop programmes and use information to promote positive outcomes for children across the school.
Having worked within school leadership teams, Carolyn is well-equipped with how Hero can help school leaders to understand the needs and progress of each individual child. She enjoys working with schools to help them to achieve the best possible outcomes for their tamariki (children).
